Bienvenue from All Bikes Charente.
You'll receive a warm welcome at our English family run chambre d'hôtes situated in the heart of the Charente countryside. We are situated 5km North of the historic town of Confolens, which every year in August hosts the traditional folklore/music festival with artists from around the world.
We are open all year round for walking, cycling, bird watching, motorcycling, fishing, painting, holidays.
One step out of our gate and straight away you are on one of our many local walking/cycling routes. There are many mapped out rural tracks and lanes for you to explore (bike hire available). The river Vienne is a short walk away across a field (daily/weekly fishing permits available). For motorcyclists we have some great rides, the roads are smooth with beautiful flowing bends.
Your accommodation is seperate from ours which gives you the freedom to come and go as you please. You arrive as guests and leave as friends !!
We are situated just outside the village of Lessac, which is 5 kilometres north of the historic town of Confolens, which is centraly placed between Poitiers, Limoges and Angouleme.
What we offer at All Bikes Charente:
B&B Accommodation, the 2 person bunk-house has a shower room attached, the 4 person bunk-house has a shower room opposite, single room with shower room opposite.
Continental style breakfast included in the price.
Secure parking.
Bed linen and towels are provided included in the price.
Bike wash facilities. Free Workshop facilities. Free drying facilities. Free wifi.
Evening meals available by arrangement, 17.00 Euros per person which includes 3 courses, beer and wine with your meal. (Could you please tell Julie in advance if there is any food you do not eat)
Accompanied ride-outs 20.00 euros pppd (lunch not included), from local places of interest to places further afield.
