B&B in a 17th Century Mansion / Herault Valley

A family bedroom (2 adjoining rooms for 4 people) and 3 double rooms welcome you from March to November. All bedrooms are rated ‘Gîtes de France- 3 Epis‘ and include private bathrooms.

We always prepare one table to promote usability, especially in the evening.
The morning hours are more spread out and the table large enough for everyone to start the day at your own pace.
The table is set out as soon as the weather permits or in the shelter of the vaulted dining room.

We are at the heart of two sites classified as Natura 2000 and we invite you to come and enjoy the wilderness.

To the possible extent, you would opt for gentle circulation means such as cycling, hiking … You will discover points of view “that deserve it,” plants “that clinging”, insects “that fluttering” if you take the time … not going too fast…

In the year 804, in the middle of the wild and arid countryside, a legendary figure, Guillaume of Orange, chose this place to live apart from the world and founded an abbey. It became a place of pilgrimage and a recommended halt on the road to Compostella.

You can also visit the St Loup Peak , place of hiking and climbing, which offers a magnificent panorama from the Mediterranean Sea to the Cevennes mountains.
Nearby famous wines reveal the distinctiveness of their soil.

The Bueges valley deserves also to be discovered.
Following the course of the water, past small picturesque villages, you can trace the source of this small river and will find a beautifully rugged and wild place.
From there the bravest will venture on paths leading to the top of Séranne.

And farer on the Larzac causse, the Vis river has cut out a limestone plateau and created this extraordinary canyon classified “grand natural site”.
Nestling at the bottom of the canyon is the picturesque village of Navacelles, dominated by vertical limestone cliffs.
