English Club in Corsica in Porri

Two rooms in my family house in a very small village in Casinca in Corsica. If you are more than 4 people I have the possibility to host up to 8 people. In low season, I often have people coming for full immersion in French or English. I offer full immersion including sightseeing and activities such as wine tasting and cooking lessons. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

20' from the sea. Anghione is the nearest beach and even if you come to Porri in August you will be alone on the beach which is great. At night you can go to Moriani Plage to find more activities but a lot tourist prefer staying in villages because each village has something different to offer.
Less than 1 hour to go to Bastia and the ferry terminal.

30' to go to Bastia Airport.
You can visit Corsica and stay in a real tiny village far from tourist.
You can use the kitchen and the terrace to have dinner at home but you can also try the very good and cheap restaurants in all other villages.

I have one dog and I love pets. There is a garden but children and pets are free in the village and you will enjoy that.

We will have breakfast together and if you speak English, we can have an 'aperitif' with my adult students.

Corsica without a car is not easy but if you come to Porri without a car, I drive you to Cap Corse, Balagne, Corte, Castagniccia, Bastia, Bonifacio, Bavella and Porto with Calanche de Piana. Feel free to ask anything you need. I know a lot of people and I can find a rental car or boat or plane.

Centrally located in Bastia, her apt is very comfy, super clean & has a beautiful view & has Wifi, . She's the only host who goes out of her way for guests: she picks up & drops off guests from & to the port. she'll find you a room if she's full; she even drove us around other towns sightseeing after work or between her lessons or on a day off & gives history & interesting stories.

She enjoys sitting down w/you BF& chat to get to know you better. She's a great source of eats, best family owned ice cream parlour, all activities w/in the island & so forth. She'd even help you find another b&b in other towns, rent boats, cars, camping sites, & everything you could think of.

She's well connected. knows everyone& vice versa She runs an English social club, the only one I've ever heard of in France, where she takes you out w/ her adult students ( learning English) to a wonderful typical Corsican meal w/great local wines & we found this to be a terrific way of meeting locals-they were all so jovial that time flew & we did not want the evening to end. She boasts about her luck in getting only the best guests but it's only true because you end up loving her the minute you meet her. People return just to be w/her, I'm one of them. Lydia Alcantara
