Hotel Villa Kerasi
Villa Kerasi is an individualistic, architect designed; boutique hotel set in its own grounds of one acre and located between the lovely villages of Vamos and Gavolahori in western Crete.
Our beautiful hotel is contemporary in design and has a double atrium courtyard entrance leading to a large lounge with open fireplace and a wrap around balcony offering breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. The dining area has a large walnut dining table that comfortably seats 10 and leads to a large patio and grass area that runs the full length of the house with seating for 12 people. The stunning contemporary open plan fully equipped kitchen also leads out onto the patio.
On the ground floor there is a beautiful en suite bedroom with a large private balcony overlooking the pool area and the sea beyond. There is a ground floor toilet and cloakroom and in the basement, a laundry room.
On the first floor we have four spacious and elegant luxury bedrooms all equipped with King or super king size beds some of which can be configured to provide full size twin single beds. All the rooms have contemporary en-suite shower rooms. Each bedroom has a large private balcony meticulously designed so you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the lefka Ori (White Mountains) or the panoramic sea views of Souda Bay.
The stunning infinity pool and terraces offer the perfect place to top up your tan, or read a book in the shade. Sun loungers and comfy chairs provide the perfect quiet, restful corner to sit with friends or retreat under the shade of a pergola. Set in its own grounds of over an acre, Villa Kerasi provides the perfect antidote to modern life with its quiet setting and intimate spa facilities whilst at the same time, being the perfect base for exploring the fascinating Chania and Apokoronas region.
The delicious breakfast, a variety of seasonal locally sourced organic produce will be the perfect start to your day, whether you choose to enjoy it on the shaded terrace or on the privacy of your own balcony. We offer an honesty bar stocked with excellent local wines, beer, spirits and soft drinks with complimentary tea and coffee.
We also provide snacks throughout the day and if you fancy an evening in, we produce delicious traditional evening meals or a BBQ to be taken by the pool, on the numerous terraces or in the stunning dining room. Come back from a day’s exploring and enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars. Sample local olive oils, breads and cheeses and organic wines from the region. At Villa Kerasi we are dedicated to spoiling our guests and offer simple but tasty home cooking based on fresh, locally sourced seasonal produce.
We can offer an expert concierge service, advice on the area, the best tavernas and beaches and provide all assistance in planning self guide walking routes and we also offer escorted walks. If you feel energetic enough, please feel free to take the mountain bikes out for a spin.
The hotel has a beautiful lounge and dining room as well as a communal balcony with breath taking views to which guests have full access, the only room in the house to which they do not have access is the kitchen unless rented exclusively
