The Bat Barn Country Guest House Hungary

The Bat Barn has 4 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms (3 with showers, 1 with a big tub and hand-held shower), spread out over two floors. This farmhouse combines the luxuries of modern living with the allure of old countryside style and architecture.

The inside of the barn has been completely renovated, while the outer structure remains in its original state. The outer bricks were cleaned and the windows renovated, always adhering to the original character of a farm building. Great thought was put into the design of The Bat Barn in order to retain its original charm while providing all of the needs of modern-day living. This former barn is located near the renovated country house in which the owners reside.

Step into the welcoming breakfast room with the original beam ceilings, a traditional deep green tiled stove and a long wooden table to seat 10. The kitchen is also on this floor, a serving window helps easier access to anything you may need from the kitchen while enjoying your breakfast, dinner or a glass of delicious wine from the owners' cellar.

The bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The 2nd floor rooms have king-sized double beds and one of them has a bathroom with a beautiful wood-covered bathtub. The rooms open from a cozy living room with armchairs and a sofa. It is very sunlit and airy, as its ceiling is partially open between the floors and the sun shines through the rooftop windows. The television and video set is discreetly placed in an old cupboard here.

The 3rd floor rooms in the attic come with 2 bedrooms and showers. There is a guest bathroom under the staircase going to the 3rd floor with toilet and sink. All decoration and furnishing come from the owners’ collections and are carefully picked to create a cosy and warm atmosphere and help you feel very comfortable.
