Agriturismo Limoneto, Charming B&B

Hospitality and relax in a verdant lemon grove, 9 km west from the beautiful town of Syracuse. Limoneto is accessible from Catania airport, 50 km away, and a good number of road signs make it easy to reach it.

The seaside with the white sandy beaches of Fontane Bianche is only 10 km away.

Limoneto is a working farm that produces organic lemons that are sold to local collectors to be exported in the North of Europe. Adelina and Alceste, helped by their two children Francesco and Dora, open their house to the travellers who are looking for a peaceful and reasonably priced accommodation while visiting Siracusa.

Limoneto is a good base for many interesting excursions and guests are given advice, by the owners themselves, about things to do and to see either in Syracuse or around it, such as in Noto, Palazzolo, The Necropolis of Pantalica and Vendicari.

The farm boasts 10 nicely furnished and clean rooms, with private services, heating and air conditioning.

Rooms are large and comfortable, have independent access, some can sleep two and some can sleep three. We also have larger family rooms on two levels, which can accommodate up to 4-5 people. Limoneto offers typical Sicilian cooking with home-made pasta.

Most of the vegetables served are grown organically on the farm. Fish is served twice a week, usually on Tuesday and Friday, but only if the chef Francesco can buy it fresh on the market.

We usually serve the wine of the house, but guests can choose from a choice of bottled Sicilian wines.

On Saturday night we suggest a special evening. On a long buffet table there are lots of different preparation and guests can help themselves of whatever they like as many times as they want! Local people enjoy coming to our place in big parties to spend the evening out.

We now have a nice and relaxing swimming pool.
