Cà d ' Rot B&B. In the hills of Monferrato & Langhe,Piedmont,Italy

Vinchio seems to spring from the vineyards that surround it and produce, thanks to the active life of its inhabitants, great wines such as Barbera Superiore, Moscato d'Asti, Chardonnay, Cortese, and Grignolino. Vinchio is also well-known for the King of truffles, the White Truffle (or Tuber Magnatum), the 'cardo gobbo' ('bent' thistle, because of its particular shape), and many other typical products.

We live in this same house since 2000, but it has always been the family house, once owned to our grandparents. And the love for this house, and this job (or, as we like to say, this 'way of life'), is visible from the cares we like to give to each detail.

We are a family who has travelled a lot and we tried, during our trips, to stop in little and familiar B&B who could offer us some warmth and simplicity. This kind of experiences gave us the idea to open up our home to the others…and offering them the same hospitality we were looking for!
We speak English, French, and Spanish.

Our B&B consists of three double rooms, with respective private bathrooms, at the ground floor which have common entrance courtyard with the family house, but a sole floor for our guests, and a wide breakfast-living room available. Our rooms have no names but are cosy, warm, and personalized characteristics.

Vinchio is located in a good central position for visiting beautiful towns such as: ASTI (known, in addition to its Palio - the most ancient in Italy since 1275 - for the Douja, for the Festival Delle sagre, for the truffles market, etc), Alba (Langhe), Barolo, NEeive Pollenzo, Acqui Terme (thermal town), Canelli (renowned for its historical wine caves - underground Cathedrals, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site), and other truly gorgeous spots.

How to reach us.
From Turin: Take the motorway Torino-Piacenza(A21), and continue till the exit Asti Est. You will be on the bypass for Alba, Acquiterme, but you have to take the detour for Nizza-Canelli-Acqui terme and then follow the directions to Montegrosso D'Asti. At the traffic lights in Montegrosso, turn left to Mombercelli and Vinchio.
From Milano: Take the A21 direction Torino-Piacenza. Exit Felizzano, direction for Quattordio, Masio, Belveglio, Mombercelli and Vinchio.
