B&B Maison

Newly refurbished in November 2009, B&B Maison is in a beautiful ancient palazzo complete with frescoed ceilings and original tiled floors.

We offer you a choice of either a family room, triple, twin or double room with a private bathroom.

The rooms have a view of Bruneschelli's Cupola & Giotto's Campanille. They are large, bright rooms and the B&B is central heated throughout. Hot water is available 24 hours. We can arrange a time with you when you want breakfast, for cooked breakfasts or breakfast in bed (!) the earliest we start is 8.30am. If you want breakfast earlier we can arrange a continental breakfast for you.

B&B Maison is perfectly located for those who wish to be in the centre of the city, without the inconvenience and noise of being surrounded by pubs and clubs, yet we're just a 10 minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station.

We have great knowledge of Florence and Tuscany (and beyond!) and we love to help our guests decide where best to spend their time and money in Florence. On arrival you will be greeted with a friendly face and a welcome drink (and most likely a friendly lick from our puppy!). We will show you a map of Florence and explain where everything is, what we think are must sees and what we think you would do best to avoid. If you want we can book tours, winetasting, horseriding, restaurants, spa days, whatever you want, just ask (we dont charge you or take commmissions on bookings). Or if you prefer just sit on the couch and use our free wifi to book something for yourself!

Please note the following before you book:
You should advise us of your estimated time of arrival when you book. If this changes it is not a problem but do be sure to inform us so we know to wait for you! It's a good idea to provide us with a contact mobile telephone number (make sure you can use abroad before you leave for Florence!) complete with area code. Our usual check in times are from 1pm until 9pm, but we are happy to make arrangements for out of hours check ins. If you intend to arrive earlier than 1pm and want to go straight to your room, you need to book for the night before otherwise your room will not be ready. You are welcome to arrive before 1pm and just drop off your luggage.

Cancellation fees:
Prior to 72 hours of due date of arrival 25% of the total cost of the booking
Within 72 hours 50% the total cost of the booking for stays of 2 nights or longer OR 100% total cost of the booking for stays of just one night

If you dont show up and haven't informed us of the cancellation we will charge your credit card the full cost of the stay up to a maximum of 3 nights.

If you call to cancel, please also send us an email so we both have proof of the cancellation date.

Payment:
Full payment must be made on check in. If paying on check in we accept CASH ONLY. If you decide to pay in advance we can easily arrange this with you via a range of payment methods.

A deposit of 25% the cost of the stay is required to book.

Is at 11am, although you are welcome to store your luggage with us for a few extra hours at no extra charge.

We are situated on the third floor and we do not have a lift. Therefore B&B Maison is not suitable for those who are unable to climb the stairs. We can of course help you carry your luggage up the stairs if you need!
