B&B Terra Mossa

Small and friendly B&B, in the quiet hills of the countryside of Le Marche. Peacefully situated, in the very heart of the region, but close to major roads. Easily reachable by car or airplane (there are cheap flights with Ryanair from London Stansted to Ancona); the airport is only 30 minutes by car. The nearest beaches are at Senigallia, at approximately 35 kilometres.

Our three rooms are airy and comfortable and all have a private bath room. Breakfast is served on the terrace and comes with home-made jams and bread, fresh fruits (when possible from our own garden), tea or (Italian) coffee. In the unlikely event of a rainy day breakfast is served in the breakfast room upstairs. There you also find the refrigerator that is available to all the guests.

You can spend your day exploring the area, or relax in the garden in the hammock with a good book. If the fruit on our trees is ripe, you are free to pick and eat however much you like.

You are only 10 minutes away by car from the large regional park Gola della Rossa e Frasassi, with lots of hiking and biking trails. A must-see are the Frasassi caves, the largest in Europe and very impressive.

We can also arrange trips to wineries and olive groves, where you learn more about the beautiful wines and olive oils that are made in the region.

Cities to visit: Ancona, Gubbio, Urbino, Assisi. These cities can be reached within the hour by car. Give your extra attention to all the small and charming fortified towns nearby like Poggio San Marcello, Rosora, Mergo, Montecarotto, Serra de' Conti, Serra San Quirico, etc. etc. Wander through their narrow streets and enjoy a good strong cup of Italian caffè or a smooth cappuccino at the local bar, and watch the Italian village life pass you by.
