Locanda di Campagna B&B e Azienda Agricola
Locanda di Campagna (Country Inn) is a family-managed B&B. We offer affordable accomodation in comfy, spacious and beautifully furnished rooms, with no frills and pointless distractions (meaning with that, there's no TV set in any room!).
Wireless Internet connection is available in the main hall (we're no Luddites!) and we gladly welcome kids and well-behaved pets.
Our farm is located in the scenic landscape of Alta Lunigiana, a beautiful mountain area at the crossroads of three Italian regions (Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna).
Despite being just a few minutes from the autoroute exit, our location is secluded enough to guarantee a peaceful and quiet environment. If you like walks in the woods; relaxing on a deck chair with a good book, while sheep graze nearby; or simply appreciate the value of a good night sleep, you've come to the right place!
On request there is also the possibility to lunch and dine with us, we offer a hearty and tasty home cooking with a personal twist. We strive to use mostly organic, natural food either grown by ourselves or produced in the nearby area. With some advance warning we'll be more than happy to provide vegetarian-friendly meals.
Apart from the beatiful landscape and natural settings, Lunigiana has much to offer in terms of art and history. Scattered around the area, are many well-maintained medieval villages, looking down the valley from the hilltops.
Close by (ten minutes car drive) is the ancient town of Pontremoli with its steep and narrow alleys, medieval architecture and beautiful castle.
Day trips may also be planned to the Ligurian seaside and Cinque Terre (UNESCO World Heritage site, a mere forty minutes car drive), Florence (less than two hours drive) and Parma (beautiful art city in the Po Valley, home of a world-famous Opera festival; one hr. drive).
So, come and visit us, we can't wait to have you as our guests!
