B&B San Donato

In the flat valley hugged by the torrents of Marroggia and Teverone, lies the Bed & Breakfast San Donato.

This wonderful place, surrounded by the towns, pearls of art, of Spoleto, Montefalco, Bevagna and Trevi, is situated near the Clitunno springs, a naturalistic jewel, already famous and used by the ancient Romans.

Recently renovated, the B&B San Donato is reminiscent of the old farmhouses of the Umbria region. Adjacent to the B&B, there are still the ruins of an old countryside church, built in the 1200s, consecrated to Saint Donato, from which the B&B takes its name.

The contact with nature, the kindness and hospitality of the landlady, the serene and relaxing environment, make this spot a truly special place.

Just a few kilometres away from all the major centres of the region, B&B San Donato offers comfortable rooms at reasonable prices.

It is possible to visit the church of Saint Donato, and have dinner with some home-made typical local products.
Also, it is possible to buy our own genuine saffron, which we cultivate in the fields around the B&B.

Questo meraviglioso luogo, circondato dalle città, perle d’arte, di Spoleto, Montefalco, Bevagna e Trevi, è situato a ridosso delle Fonti del Clitunno, gioiello naturalistico formato da più sorgenti, già famose e sfruttate in epoca romana.

Di recente ristrutturazione, il B&B San Donato ricorda le vestigia degli antichi casolari umbri. A pochi passi, esistono ancora le mura diroccate di una piccola chiesa di campagna risalente al 1200, consacrata a San Donato, da cui il B&B prende il nome.

Il diretto contatto con la natura, la cordialità e l’ospitalità della proprietaria, e un ambiente sereno e tranquillo, fanno di questo luogo un posto davvero speciale.
