Our bed and breakfast born like an informal experience: it started from the proud of our city and the happiness to share Bergamo with the foreign people. After some years we decided to improve the service for our guest. That’s the reason of Bergamo SottoSopra, a challenge to a present that doesn’t want leave individual enterprise.

Bergamo SottoSopra offers attention for details, ensuring a high standard of quality and the pleasure of meeting travellers. The furniture is thought to create a sense of harmony in the apartment; actually you can feel it from the photos: we tried to melt the building and the rooms into a consensual harmony.

The Bergamo SottoSopra’s building is a melting of ancient and new, because it was built in the end of Nineteenth century and than restored recently. The bed and breakfast is located in a strategic position, close to XX Settembre road - the most important street of Bergamo -, to Porta Nuova and also to the station; it’s exactly in the city centre.

Someone could think that the centrality of Bergamo SottoSopra means a chaotic place but, in fact, it surrounded by a silent courtyard, which guarantees deep quietness. Came here to experience our kindness and our availability, you’ll be delighted.

The rooms has plasma television, internet Wi-Fi connection, hairdryer, sheets, towels and courtesy line. The child from 0 to 3 years sleep free.

You can enjoy a self-serviced, Mediterranean breakfast in the common area, which is also equipped with kitchenette. For all guests there is a wide selection of teas and infusions, in addition to coffee, milk, yoghurt, biscuits, jam, butter, biscuits and fresh fruit. The owner is available to customers with food allergies or intolerances for alternative solutions.

Via Giacomo Quarenghi is one of the earliest streets of Bergamo and takes its name from the famous architect that was born here. The first section of the street, where Bergamo Sottosopra bed and breakfast is located, is a dynamic area with numerous shops and restored historical buildings.
