Villa 2 Fields Bed & Breakfast

Villa 2 Fields is a large residence situated in the peaceful Italian countryside between Castellaneta 12km to the south and Gioia Del Colle 10 km to the north. Just one hour from Bari airport this is a great base for touring the historic region with easy access to its many towns and villages. The region has a diverse coastline and excellent sandy beaches at Castellaneta Marina. The local restaurants offer a wonderful range of tradition meals at excellent prices and the locally produced Primitivo wine is a must.

There is so much to see and do in the area. It is easy to to spend time immersing yourself in the Italian culture whilst whiling away the hours in the regions history. Amazing architecture is around every corner in the many towns and cities and you will be amazed by such places as Alberobello with its stunning Trullis and the white city of Ostuni. The cliff face coastline of Castellans Grotto and the rocky outcrops of Monopoli are unique.

The space
We have 4 large en-suite bedrooms, 3 of which have there own outside balcony space with a table and chairs. All rooms have king size beds, en-suite showers and amazing countryside views. All of our bedrooms have comfy seating and all accommodation is on the first floor accessed by stairs. There is no lift. We have indoor and outdoor dining, breakfast is continental is style with pastries, cold meats and cheese, fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, cereal and of fresh coffee.

Guest access
We have a communal lounge area with books and magazines, some toys for young children and a very large garden that guests are welcome to relax in. Guest have their own keys and can come and go at any time, day or night. All we ask is that you are quiet when returning late and do not disturb other guests.
There is ample free secure private parking for everyone to the side of the villa, please do not park at the front.

Interaction with guests
Villa 2 Fields is also our home and as such we appreciate our guest taking care of the facilities and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. We are on site much of the time and can usually be found around the place either tending the garden or doing odd jobs. If for any reason you would like us to be around at a certain time then please ask and we will try to accommodate you.

We have 2 dogs at the villa, Inkky and Teddy. They are kept away from guest where possible but if you are around for much of the day then you will encounter them as this obviously is their home too and they love to run about the place.
We are happy to have pets as visitors providing they are quiet, house trained and like other dogs.
