Gozo is both safe and secure and makes for a perfectly relaxing and restful holiday destination, and with us it also becomes the ideal environment in which to improve your English-speaking conversational skills.

Most people learn English in a classroom environment, centered mainly on grammar and with the minimum of opportunity to practice and perfect English-speaking conversational skills.

Colin is an excellent conversationalist and is available to help you gain confidence in a relaxed and positive way to encourage your conversational ability. A variety of methods are on offer, the most popular of which is 'Walk and Talk'. This is a series of guided walks in which to explore our beautiful Island and to have enjoyable exercise at the same time as you perfect your English speaking skills. It is the perfect combination of healthy mind and body exercise, the cost of which is available on application.

Our breakfasts are noted as a healthy and enjoyable delight. With a varied selection on offer of fresh fruit, muesli etc., accompanied by toast with preserves and tea or coffee, all served in a tranquil environment accompanied by soft, relaxing music. The perfect way start to your day.

The house is beautifully appointed and is situated on a hillside enjoying panoramic and unobstructed views overlooking fertile farmland in the beautiful Marsalforn Valley below. It also affords excellent views of the turquoise blue Mediterranean Sea from both front and rear.

We offer three tasteful bedrooms, all en-suite .. one single and two twin rooms.
Guests are welcome to use the lounge and patio terrace, both offering excellent views across the valley.

Our house is positioned mid-way between the picturesque village of Xaghra and the traditional fishing village of Marsalforn, both an enjoyable 15 minute walk away. The village square in Xaghra has several good cafes and restaurants and is an ideal venue to meet the colourful locals or to 'people watch' whilst enjoying a refreshing coffee, tea, or possibly even something a little stronger!
Marsalforn has a plethora of restaurants all offering excellent selections of tempting local and international cuisine catering to all tastes and pockets.

The award winning Ramla Bay is again a 15 minute walk away and here there are two beach front cafes in which to take refreshment after sunbathing or after taking a leisurely swim in the crystal clear and warm Mediterranean water. Gozitans are justifiably proud in achieving and maintaining the excellent standard of cleanliness and safety in all their beaches.

Additional Info

We are both English born retired business people. We enjoy conversation with our guests and mutual exchanges of ideas, interests and ideals. To explore the culture and traditions of the respective Nations of our guests gives us the greatest of pleasure and guests find this advantageous towards practice and improvement of their English language speaking skills.

In addition there is an excellent English language school nearby, or alternatively there are one-to-one private English language lessons available with highly qualified English teachers.
All rooms are en-suite and have a shower, toilet and wash-hand basin.
