Casa Dorena

Caseta Dorena has been purpose built as a comfortable rural retreat for those wishing to relax in a rural setting. Caseta consists of; large double/twin room with air conditioning, en-suit shower/wet room, fridge , kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. Our pool is brand new and is only 4 meters from the caseta. The patio is large and has a gazebo for shade. A table and chairs are provided with recliners to in.

We are within easy travelling of many of Spains hidden gems, (Cordoba, Jerez, Seville) and many mountainous regions. As an example, Moron de la Frontera has some of the loveliest mountains I've ever seen, and the whole area is teeming with wildlife.

The many local Ferias (traditional festivals) where girls dance flamenca, Beautiful Spanish stallions perform their breathtaking displays of skill and courage and much more.

Pop into a local bar and enjoy tapas with real Andalusians who will have met few if any British.

Visit Jerez, home of the world famous Sherry, it has lots of character and antique monuments in addition to the world renowned Royal school of equestrian art where highly trained Spanish stallions perform their balletic displays at regular public performances.

Or one hour away is Cordoba it has a beautifully preserved old walled city where the Mesquite cathedral, which was formerly a mosque, is a photographers delight.
Horse riding can also be arranged locally under the supervision of experts, where you can ride for hours without seeing a public road

The jewel in the crown is our delightful pool and patio area, which can be used at any time of day for relaxing with a cool drink (required element, the weather is gorgeous in summer).

Evening meals can be provided, (traditional Andalusian or English) at reasonable cost and can be taken on the shaded veranda or the garden gazebo, where we like to sit and enjoy the all too rare song of our resident Nightingale. Breakfast, English or continental is included in the price and is usually taken outdoors.

Caseta Dorena is a luxuriously appointed holiday destination at very affordable prices, all of our guests return so we must be doing something right.
Our rates start at just 50 euros per night for the room and includes Breakfast. Summer rates are an additional 10 euros per night.
