Cortijo del Sueño
Our cortijo has been recently renovated and transformed into a small-scale Bed & Breakfast with comfortable, modern guest rooms in an authentic Spanish setting.
Our guest accommodation comprises two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a lounge/kitchen complete with a log burner in which to enjoy your meals on colder days.
The guest room on the ground floor, Adelfa, is a very large room. It has two single beds, two couches (which you can convert into two single beds) so it is possible for two adults and two children to sleep, a wardrobe and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The room has a door leading to a private terrace that overlooks the garden and the swimming pool. There is also a TV and DVD player.
The second guestroom, Olivo, is on the first floor and has a beautiful, traditional beamed ceiling. It has a double bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet and it’s own private roof terrace with stunning views of the surrounding olive groves.
Because of its central location our cortijo is an ideal starting point for exploring Andalusia.
If you love culture? By car, Málaga, Granada and Córdoba are just an one-hour drive away. Seville can be reached in two hours.
Do you love nature? The Natural Parks La Subbetica, Montes de Málaga, El Torcal and El Chorro are all within close reach.
You like to take a walk? There are endless possibilities in the area of the cortijo.

If you don’t have a car, we can offer you transport service from and to the airport at € 55,- one-way. (Max 4 persons with luggage)
Food and drinks
Breakfast, which is included, is normally served on the patio but on cooler days it will be served in the lounge.
For your convenience there are chilled drinks in the refrigerator (pay when you leave). Coffee, tea and water are free of charge.
If you wish we can prepare a lunch for you: a sandwich, soup or salad, prices are variable.
Or you can use the kitchen in the lounge to prepare a lunch or dinner.
If you do not feel like cooking you can have dinner from Monday to Friday at our cortijo.
A complete menu costs € 25 per person including beer, wine, water or soft drinks. We serve many different types of international food. Including typical Spanish, Hungarian and Indonesian cuisine.
On request we can also serve a tapas menu.
Of course there is always the possibility to go out for dinner, there are many traditional tapas bars and restaurants in the area.
Workshops
If you like to do something creative then you can do a mosaic workshop at our cortijo. You will learn how you can easily make things look nicer. In our garden there are many different examples. You can make your own design on a flowerbox or help to create an original design on the wall on the patio. All the materials and tools are available and your artwork will be placed in our garden or patio. Of course you can also make something to take home with you, in that case you only pay for the materials.
This workshop is free of charge for our guests!
In the future there will a variety of artistic workshops available.
