Al mudawar

Set in the heart of the old part of Almodóvar del Río, a peaceful village, 20 km from Córdoba, where among its steep streets, you can discover the accommodation called “Al-Mudawar”. This is a very old house, restored in 2007, which combines tradition and modern day living, allowing the traveller to enjoy all the beauties of an ancient house with all the comforts of today.

We invite you to visit our patio, the centre of the house around which the rest of the house revolves.

Al-Mudawar offers 7 double rooms, one of which is suitable for the disabled, 1 superior class double room, 1 triple room and 1 single room, all with an ensuite bathroom, TV, satellite channels, air-conditioning, heating, and daily room cleaning service.

For the exclusive use of our guests, the house offers a lounge-dining room with a TV, a reading and games room with a fireplace, the perfect place to relax or enjoy a lovely get-together with friends. The house provides its guests with a wide variety of possibilities, such as the sunbathing area and terrace with a bar service.

Only 20 minutes away from Cordoba, you will be able to see one of the prettiest villages in this province, with its whitewashed houses and steep streets.
Visit the Almodóvar Castle, walk around the old part of the village, or visit the Ethnological Museum and wander round looking at the tools that were once used in the everyday life of our village. These are just a few of the activities on offer.
