Finca Margarita.Restored Spanish farmhouse

Finca Margarita is a renovated Catalan farmhouse set in its own secluded valley situated in the hills above Bitem near Tortosa. It is surrounded by wild and maintained olive terraces and offers views down to the river Ebro.

The house inside comprises of a kitchen diner, wet room, larder with a good sized fridge freezer complete with a large selection of cold drinks, tea and coffee making facilities, Satelite TV with DVD together with Wifi internet access. This room leads into the outside lounge, which over looks the swimming pool. Upstairs there is a double and a twin bedroom, the third bedroom is a cosy double ensuite which was originally the old goat shed.

Outside there is one large, shaded terrace together with two roof terraces and a shaded area by the pool. Plenty of sunloungers, tables and chairs make it the ideal place for a continental breakfast and evening meal.

The continental breakfast basket contains fresh fruit, yoghurt, warm local pastries, preserves, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Full English breakfast is available upon request. The evening meal menu is dependant upon availability of local produce and local wine, beers and cold drinks are included.
Beers and wines can also provided on a sale or return basis and packed lunches can be prepared to order

The unspoilt beaches of the Costa Dorada are a 30 minute drive away where it is possible to be the only person on the beach for most of the year. Visit the Ebro delta, home of pink flamingos or drive into the Els Port mountains and witness ibex and vultures.
