Alshults Herrgård Bed & Breakfast
Småland - this is a wonderful place to live
Activities and adventures
Let the adventure start in a canoe. Long sweeping strokes with the paddle will take you to exciting shore stops in the quiet lake system. Just as close to nature and at your own pace, you can discover new horizons by cycle or, if you prefer, fill your lungs with fresh air along one of the well-organised, long-distance footpaths around Småland.
Walking & Cycling
An opportunity to fill your lungs with fresh air and to feel great. For many i's a way to relax and catch up on life. In Småland, the road to a good life is comfortable and easy to access. We have chosen well-managed, signposted footpaths and cycleways with experiences. Many of the paths will take you back to the starting point and others to new accommodation where you can enjoy a nice evening with good food. Put on your walking boots, or start the journey of discovery on a cycle!
Living traditions
'At the Old Town Square in Ljungby (Gamla Torg) everything is as it was in the old days. Many generations would even feel at home in the well-preserved Habo Church and in Granhult Church it's like stepping into the Middle Ages. Småland church treasures! Christmas for boat enthusiasts must include a tour on the Boxholm II, one of Sweden's last wood-burning steamships still taking passengers. Braås Heritage Park (Hembygdspark) will guide you through times gone by, indoors and out in the park and herb garden.'
