Bay Cottage Bed & Breakfast

Bay Cottage is a family run B&B with a warm welcome for our visitors. Tea/coffee and cake on arrival, excellent breakfasts using our own free range eggs and rare breed bacon and sausage. We try to use local produce when possible and all dairy products are produce of Northern Ireland. Evening meals by arrangement.

The rooms are comfortable and furnished with an eclectic mix of modern and antique furniture. One bedroom has a large double bed, a sofa which opens out into a standard double and is en suite. The other bedroom has two beds and a private bathroom. Both have TVs, hairdryers and hospitality trays.

It is possible to set up a table for those who wish to do some work in their rooms. The sitting room has a multi fuel stove which is constantly lit in the winter and on chilly evenings the rest of the time. There are board games and jigsaws, a large selection of books - tourist literature and fiction as well as TV and radio.

It is possible to arrange a work space for those wishing to write or use a laptop. We are yards from the shore of Lough Neagh so it is possible to sit at your bedroom window, use the binoculars provided and look at the wildlife - you will almost certainly see an impressive range of birds.

We have an insulated kennel and run for visiting dogs which are not allowed into the house.

We have storage for motorbikes, bikes and canoes. Please note that we are on Sustrans Route 94.

Our location means that most areas of Northern Ireland are within easy reach, the Giants Causeway is 45 minutes (direct route), Belfast is 30 mins (not at rush hour) and Lisburn and Ballymena are within 25 minutes. Antrim and Crumlin are 10 minutes away.
