Just over one hour from Glasgow Airport, close to the shores of Loch Fyne and Lock Eck, Balliemeanoch is ideally situated for exploring the Cowal peninsula, Argyll's west coast and further afield into the Scottish Highlands. Whether you are looking for an active break or a quiet country retreat, it's a perfect spot.

Balliemeanoch was once a working farm, with a farmhouse and traditional steading dating back to the mid 19thcentury. The buildings fell into a state of disrepair after the farm was abandoned, but the farmhouse has now been carefully restored to create a lovely family home and a high quality bed and breakfast. At Balliemeanoch today you’ll find smart, spacious and comfortable accommodation, great home cooking, friendly service and a wealth of activities on our doorstep.

We have two large, light and airy double or twin rooms, with ‘jack and jill’ style en suite bathroom, ideal for family groups or friends who are happy to share a bathroom. You can book both rooms together or, if you need just one room, we book the entire ‘suite’ out for you, with exclusive use of en suite bathroom.

Rates are based on two people per room and include a fabulous Scottish breakfast using local produce – where possible homemade and home grown.

B&B prices from £35 to £45 per room per night Single, £62.50 to £75 per room per night Double/Twin.
