Glendevon Bed & Breakfast.
Glendevon Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located on the west side of Edinburgh between the city centre and Edinburgh International Airport. It is less than two miles from all the major motorways in the area and about ten minutes drive from the city centre where there is an abundance of attractions, such as Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, the Scottish Parliament, numerous museums and galleries ..... the list is endless.
This delightful detached bungalow, which boasts three guest rooms (twin, double and single), provides quality comfortable accommodation - as verified by the numerous entries in the Visitors Book.
Sarah Simpson, the proprietor, who has been running the establishment for many years, enjoys meeting visitors from all over the world. Each and every visitor is given a warm welcome and Sarah strives to meet their every request. Many visitors who return year after year are looked upon more as friends rather than guests.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so why not start it with a full Scottish breakfast, including sausage, bacon, eggs ..... all the usual suspects, as well as a real Scottish delicacy - haggis!
For evening meals, numerous restaurants and bars can be found within a few minutes walk.
After a full day exploring the history and heritage of the city (or further afield) guests can then relax in the residents' lounge or retire to their room which contains the usual tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits.
