Seaside Bed & Breakfast
We live in and run a large Victorian era building since 2006. Our property is one of the highest in town allowing Guest an overview of this history rich town. As we are located in Central Dysart, local pubs, post office, newsagents, pharmacy and takeaway are just minutes away, as are bus stops (10 min) to Kirkcaldy, which would be the ideal hub to travel from and to the main cities of Edinburgh and St Andrews. Also recently the filming location of hit US TV series Outlanders.
We have a large kitchen/dining room, open in the morning to serve breakfast (Full Scottish, Cereal, Toast and Tea, please ask if interested). There is also a smaller communal kitchen located on the top floor open to guests who want to heat up bought food or even cook yourself a homely meal.
Our Bed and Breakfast is 24hr staffed as my family and I also live on-site. So we're always a door knock or a buzzer away. As locals in Dysart and Kirkcaldy we're happy to offer any assistance you may need.
Our Neighbourhood of Dysart is Conservation Area since 1978, with Dysart Tollbooth Tower erected in the 16th century as the centrepiece of this historic town ( The Clock tower which can be seen from our rooms). Our Town is filled with History and Landmarks which can fill entire days full of activity. Our nearby Harbor Museum and Community Halls would be the ideal starting point for any explorers who plan to stay with us. For those who are just looking to relax, look no further as we're located in the suburbs, next to the sea and minimal car activity on the roads.
Bus stop is a 2min walk away from our house ( We're close enough to the main road for easy access but not close enough to disturb your stay) Taxi are 24hr in Kirkcaldy/Dysart and we also have private parking up front of the building and also lots of street parking locally.
