Blairdhu House

Blairdhu House is set amongst the most spectacular scenery. Looking across a tidal river, over the village and the sea beyond. This really is an ideal spot to stay while you are visiting the Island.

Only a few minutes walk from the Skye Bridge and a 10 minute walk to the lovely Fishing Village of Kyleakin. This is also a brilliant spot for bird watching and wild life.

Blairdhu House is furnished to a High Standard and all rooms are ensuite with power showers. TV, radio, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Hairdryer and Ironing facilities. Double and Family rooms have all got king beds.

We have a lovely large Guest Lounge and Dining area, with wonderful views. We also over a fabulous breakfast with some great choices and real coffee.

There are plenty of things to do near by, the Village offers some local boat trips like the Seaprobe Atlantis, Glass bottom boat - the boat has a huge underwater viewing gallery. Also there is the award winning Bella Jane which leaves from Elgol, this boat will transport you to one of Scotlands most isolated and breathtaking Lochs, Loch Coruisk, set in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Cuillin mountains.

Eilean Donan Castle is about a 10 minute drive away and is one of the most iconic images of Scotland. Situated on a point where three great sea lochs meet, and surrounded by majestic scenery.

Also close by is Armadale Castle Gardens and Museum of the Isles is set in the heart of 20,000 acre of Highland Estate. The trust has restored the gardens and parts of the castle. This is also where the Clan Donald visiter centre is situated.
