We offer luxurious accommodation in the quiet Crown conservation area of the capital.
All our rooms are furnished with a combination of antique and contemporary furnishings and are equipped with flat screen tv, cd, dvd players with recent films, free wifi and hair dryers.
We have a large garden for guests to use and have free private parking.
We spoil our guests with home baking daily in all rooms and we aim to serve locally sourced or home grown produce where possible.

We are perfectly located for your Highland holiday, within easy travelling distance of The Orkney Islands or the mystical Isle of Skye, or stay on the mainland and visit the wild and beautiful north coast with its romantic and varied history, taking in Dunrobin Castle near Golspie, and the Royal Burgh of Dornoch, travel further to Helmsdale and learn about the history of the Highlands at the Timespan centre.
Stay closer to Inverness and take a cruise on the World famous Loch Ness visit Urquhart Castle and stay vigilant for a sighting of 'Nessie'.
The Speyside whisky trail winds through the Cairngorm National Park, where you can visit numerous famous distilleries such as Glenlivet, Glendiffich and Aberlour or choose to drive along Loch ness and visit the magical Isle of Skye before returning to the comfort of An Grianan and the facilities of the capital at night.
Staying closer to home spend your day visiting Culloden battlefiled and experience the atmosphere of the site of the last battle on British soil, close by you can visit
Clava Cairns ancient site and then onto the beautiful Cawdor Castle and its associations with Shakesphere's Macbeth, then onto
Fort George Military museum around 10 mins drive away.
Take a 20 minute drive to see at close hand dolphins feeding at Channory Point in The Black Isle, visit fantastic golf courses either at Castle Stuart or drive 1 hr north to Royal Dornoch golf course.
