As Stratheyre is situated in Central Skye, some of the main attractions the Island has to offer are close by.

Attractions include the Trotternish Ridge, which boasts the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing.

Stratheyre is also an ideal Base for Guests who wish to explore The Cuillin Ridge, Dunvegan Castle and Gardens and Flora MacDonald's Monument. The list could go on!

You will not have far to travel as the lively pubs, hotel bars and restaurants of Portree are only 5 miles away.

The house is a non-smoking area but smoking is allowed in the garden.

Being so central on the island makes, it easy for our guests to access the island's main attractions from Portree Harbour, Boat Trips to Dunvegan Castle or to Talisker Distillery.

There is a 9 hole golf course at Skeabost Country House Hotel (1 mile), and for those who enjoy fishing, the nearby River Snizort is a favoured and popular river for wild sea trout and salmon fishing.

Our intention at Stratheyre is to make your stay a comfortable and memorable experience, with all our guests being guaranteed a warm friendly welcome into our home.

Prices from £ 30 per person per night. Sorry, but minimum stay of two nights.

At the end of your stay, payment can be made either in cash or by cheque. We regret credit cards are not accepted.

April to October.

We only have 1 double room en suite with seating area. A wine fridge is provided for you to store your refreshments.
