The Isle of Skye is world renowned and probably the best known of the inner Hebridean islands which lies of the west coast of Scotland.

The landscapes throughout Skye and the Cuillin Mountains are magnificent.

Schiehallion Bed and Breakfast is located in the crofting township of Achachork, yet only 1.5 miles or a 4 minute drive from Portree centre the capital of the Isle of Skye.

The town of Portree offer a variety of restaurants and takeaways, and has 1 supermarkets & 1 convenience store, along with other shops, a chemist, hotels and a few bars.

From the harbor you can enjoy boat trips, and encounter birds, seals, porpoise, otters, whales, basking shark and including of course the famous sea eagle.

There is so much to see and do in Skye and your B&B is located in a peaceful and tranquil location ideal for walkers, climbers, sightseers and people on business.

The Old Man of Storr, Fairy glens, Kilt Rock, Fairy pools, Dunvegan Castle, Quairing, Talisker Distillery and Neist point to name a few.

Our bed and breakfast is a bungalow and all rooms are on the ground level.
Our Cuillin suite is a family room sleep up to 4 is en-suite and has a small lounge leading on a decking area.
We also offer,
1 x double en-suite room.
And
1 x twin/double/family (sleeps up to 3) en-suite room.

All our rooms have a LCD TV with DVD player, toiletries, towels, and a hair dryer, also tea and coffee making facilities.

We provide free Wi-Fi throughout the house & free of-road parking.
Guests are giving their keys allowing access at all times throughout your stay.
We also cater for special diets, can guests please advise us of your requirements at the time of booking.

Schiehallion welcome children off all ages.

All guests have use of the garden and seating where you can take in the uninterrupted, panoramic, breathtaking scenery and the Cuillins.

A must see and listen too in the summer months is the Skye pipe band who play in Portree Square on Tuesday evenings, weather permitting.
