Greetings and a warm welcome to An Cois Na Mara (pr: Un Kosh Na Mara is Gaelic for Beside the Sea).We are a family run bed & breakfast located in the tranquil village of Laide in Wester Ross.

Laide is situated in the heart of the stunning North West Highlands, an area renowned for its outstanding beauty, mountain peaks & majestic beaches. A short drive at the end of the minor road from the house is the idyllic Mellon Udrigle beach which was recently judged to be in 'The Five Best Beaches in the UK' by The Guardian.

Our home has wonderful sea & mountain views with our garden having access to Laide beach which is home to many a seabird & mammal, you may even be lucky enough to see the resident otter. From time to time we are very fortunate to witness the breathtaking White Tailed & Golden Eagles flying over the house.

Our 3 cosy bedrooms all have en-suite shower rooms with tea & coffee making facilities with fresh milk and homemade biscuits, TVs & Wi-Fi. The breakfast room awaits with views of Gruinard Bay & a hearty breakfast. Vegetarian options are available together with sweet pastries / breads.

We are an ideal base for exploring all the area has to offer whilst remaining close enough to all local amenities. We are close to the village of Aultbea with Poolewe & Gairloch just a short distance away. The popular Inverewe Gardens a National Trust site is just a short drive away

We are also situated on the increasingly popular North Coast 500 route.

We hope to provide all our guests with a comfortable & relaxing stay in our home in this idyllic part of the world.
