St Munda’s Manse Bed & Breakfast
St Munda’s Manse was built in 1903 and is set in a quiet area in the village of Ballachulish, famous for it’s slate quarry. It has recently been renovated, providing one Double Ensuite Room and one Twin Ensuite Room. There is also a Resident’s Lounge on the top floor of the house, with comfortable couches, large television, books and games.
Tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TVs and toiletries are provided in each room. Room rates are £80.00 including breakfast. Single occupancy is £60.00 including breakfast.
We provide both continental and full Scottish breakfasts with vegetarian options in our large dining room. We can also cater for people with other dietary requirements.
In the village we have a restaurant and pub, a fish and chip shop, a Hotel and a cafe in the Tourist Information Office. We also have a Coop for groceries.
We are only five minutes from historic Glencoe village, where there are other places to eat.
Fort William is half an hours drive away, and Oban is a forty five minute drive. You can access the islands by boat from Oban.
Corran Ferry which is six miles away will take you across to the beautiful Ardnamurchan peninsula.
The scenery is spectacular and there are many beautiful walks, for all abilities.
There are two ski centres nearby, one in Glencioe and the other in Fort William. Fort William also has a Leisure Centre.
The Ice Factor in Kinlochleven is a fifteen minute drive away and is an indoor climbing facility with cafe and children’s play area.
Colin and Mary look forward to welcoming you into our lovely home.
