Minto House Bed & Breakfast
Minto House opened in the summer of 2004 and we are proud to have built up a reputation for providing a comfortable, informal environment, which offers a homely base for a trip to Edinburgh whatever your reasons for visiting the city.
We have single, double, twin, triple and family rooms available most are en-suite or with private facilities.
In each of our rooms we provide the following facilities:
Colour TelevisionTea/Coffee Facilities
Towels,Central Heating
Ironing facilities on request, Hair Dryers/Straighteners available on request,Travel Cot on request.
Toiletries.
Although Wifi is not one of the facilities we provide with accommodation, we do have our own private wireless in the building. We believe this reaches all of the bedrooms, and we are usually able to give out the password to this at no extra charge. Please note that we have a ‘limited download’ broadband connection and for this reason we reserve the right to withhold the password if we have reached our broadband limit.
We offer an extensive buffet continental breakfast each morning. It is completely suitable for vegetarians and provides a refreshing and healthy start to your day. In
addition to facilities inside the rooms we have secure private parking to the rear of the property available.
Most of our rooms face the back of the property, from some of which the peak of Edinburgh’s extinct volcano can be seen- in addition to quiet views of the prestigious Blacket Conservation area and our own private garden. From the front of the house you can watch the busy life of the city unfold and wherever your room is you can enjoy the knowledge that you are only a short walk away from Edinburgh’s amazing historical attractions and all the local amenities.
