Arosdail B&B
A warm welcome awaits you at Arosdail Bed and Breakfast in the North of Scotland close to the Moray Firth and Findhorn Bay.
This well established, well appointed single storey home has recently been upgraded to include full en-suite facilities in two guest bedrooms. Each double-bedded guest bedroom is equipped with TV, hairdryer, radio and tea/coffee facilities. An additional double-bedded room has an adjacent bathroom with full bath and shower. In a very quiet rural location near the A96 Aberdeen-Inverness road, we are 3 miles from Forres and 3 miles from the picturesque seaside village of Findhorn.
The nearest rail station is in Forres and the nearest airport is 25 miles away near Inverness. If necessary transport can be provided from the rail station or the airport. The nearest public bus service, to Elgin and Aberdeen or to Forres and Inverness, is half a mile. Most of our guests arrive in their own transport and drive to either Forres or Findhorn where a number of restaurants serve evening meals.
We are conveniently situated for beaches, golf, woodland walks and many other tourist activities including the famous Malt Whisky Trail - the nearest distillery is 3 miles. We are located on a national cycle route and our area is very good for cycling.
The funicular railway to the top of the Cairngorm Mountains is a 60 minute drive. Basic Italian, Spanish and French spoken when requested. Our tourist planning advice has been much appreciated by guests. We offer free internet access and use of lounge, with open fire when appropriate. Evening meals can be provided by arrangement. We have ample off-road, private parking.
Although our facilities have not been converted for disabled use, we have successfully accommodated a guest in a wheel-chair.
Finally, our guests appreciate our attractive garden and the outdoor patio table is available for guest use and for smokers.
