We have 2 luxury double rooms with king size beds, and 1 luxury twin room. All rooms have en-suite large bathrooms, boasting both baths and walk in showers. The bedrooms have wall mounted LCD TV’s, tea coffee and hot chocolate making facilities, hair dryers, toiletries and free Wi-Fi internet access.
After a good nights sleep, start your day in our elegant dining room with a full Scottish breakfast made with locally sourced produce whenever possible.
Lighter dishes are available, or you could opt for the Scottish kippers or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
A vegetarian option can be served if we know in advance.
There are many activities you can enjoy on a day’s excursion from Trochelhill.
The famous Whisky Trail is on our doorstep. Many of the distilleries are only a short drive away, Glen Grant, Glen Moray, Macallan and Glenfiddich to name but a few. A tour around the Cooperage at Dufftown is also well worth visiting.
Being in the centre of Moray, many castles on the renowned Castle Trail are also within easy reach, Ballindalloch, Balvenie, Brodie and Drumin Castles are all in Moray.
There is an abundance of Golf Courses in Moray for all enthusiasts, amateurs to professionals are catered for on some of the best courses in the land

Cycling or walking in the forests and mountains, or even just a leisurely countryside meander, will leave you wanting to come back to Moray to see more of the splendid scenery in this outstanding region of Scotland.
Many come for the Salmon, Fishing on the river Spey, or just to watch the wildlife in this area, Dolphins, Seals, Otters and Osprey have all been sighted at Spey Bay on a regular occurrence, and it’s only an 8 minute drive from Trochelhill.
A day at Lossiemouth or Kinloss to watch the R.A.F aircraft in flight is a must, even for a non enthusiast, just to feel the vibration of the ground underfoot as they soar off into the sky gets the adrenalin going and wanting more.
A day in the Cairngorms with 4 of the 5 highest mountains in Scotland, or a day on the Glenlivet estate, where there is a sense of open space, peace and freedom that is hard to find elsewhere.
For a more peaceful outing enjoy a quiet meander around Baxters Village in Fochabers and see if you can leave without having one of there Traditional Scottish Pancakes with mounds of topping, or visit Elgin and the Biblical Gardens with it’s wonderful statues and then across the road to the Cathedral ruins. Elgin also boasts the Moray Motor Museum which is FREE admission.
To round off the day there are many good restaurants in Elgin for your evening meal, or a really good Fish and Chip shop in Fochabers.
