Cormiston Farm

Cormiston Farm was built in the 1790's, with additions in 1900, and retains many of the original Georgian and Victorian features. The farmhouse and large Georgian Steading to the rear are B Listed (Grade II) by Historic Scotland.

'Tinto' is the largest bedroom with a super-king-size four poster bed (6ft wide). The bay window looks out over the hills to the south west. A private art-deco listed bathroom is nearby, with toilet, washbasin and the original Victorian bath. £40 per person per night including Breakfast.

'Culter Fell' has a king-size bed, and a window seat overlooking the hills to the south west. A private bathroom, with bath (with shower fitting), toilet and washbasin is just down the hall. £35 per person per night including breakfast.

Single person supplement £10.

Children are very welcome, and stay free at Cormiston Farm if under 16. Bunk beds and a cot are available if required.

A sitting room is available where you can relax in front of a log fire on chilly days. There are no televisions in the guest bedrooms or in the guest sitting room. Bedrooms have DAB digital radios with clock/alarm.

Dinner £25 per person. (4 courses - set menu)
Afternoon Tea is complimentary, and served between 4pm and 6pm.

Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7am until 10am. (Earlier or later breakfasts can be catered for by arrangement).

Afternoon Tea is served between 4pm and 6pm in the garden (weather permitting) or in the sitting room. A selection of teas, homemade cakes and scones will help to revive you after your journey.

Dinner is usually at 8pm, and is a seasonal four course meal. Much of the produce is from the walled kitchen garden or from local markets. The emphasis is on local ingredients cooked in a simple way. We have a small but select wine list.

Children's tea can be served at a convenient time for the younger ones who may wish to go to bed earlier. High chairs are available.
