The Hawthorns
A family run, traditional Bed & Breakfast located in the heart of Drymen and the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.
This beautiful building was built by the Duke of Montrose in 1873 and has been run as a Bed & Breakfast since 1995. It is situated in the centre of the village and has magnificent views over the Campsie hills and the Endrick valley.
The emphasis is on comfort and quality. With bright, spacious rooms (all ensuite), large resident's lounge and separate dining room, it really is the ideal place to stay. Relax and unwind or explore the multitude of local attractions and activities.
We are at the start of the Rob Roy Way and the first stop on the West Highland Way. We are also only 30 mins from Glasgow and Stirling and an hour from Edinburgh. The bonnie banks of Loch Lomond are only a few minutes away.
We can accommodate individuals or groups of up to twenty people. All rooms are ensuite and have tea & coffee making facilities, flatscreen TV/DVD's, hairdryers, etc. A freshly prepared full Scottish cooked or continental breakfast is served in the dining room and we also cater for vegetarians and special dietary requirements on request.
We have ample free parking in our private car park and guest can relax and enjoy our attractive garden.
We are located within yards of all amenities including the Post Office, Village Shop, bank (ATM), butcher, restaurants, pubs, shops, supermarket, dentist, and doctor.
We are open all year round and offer special packages throughout the year. Please ask for details when you contact us.
You will always get a warm welcome at The Hawthorns.
