Forsyth Park Inn is a circa 1893 Queen Anne Victorian mansion, truly a Southern feast for the eyes to behold. This elegant mansion was acquired early on by a celebrated sea captain from Nova Scotia, Captain Aaron Flint Churchill, who became a prominent Savannah citizen involved in both the cotton and steel industry. The mansion typifies the Queen Anne Victorian style with its ornate window and roof pediments and elaborate, deep verandah. The interior is remarkable for its spectacular woodwork, which includes 14-foot ceilings, 12-foot doors, a grand staircase, and beautiful parquetry floors throughout.
Whether it’s indulging in our full gourmet breakfast served on the verandah or in the salon, or sipping on refreshing beverages and enjoying hors d’oeuvres in the early evening, you will feel immersed in the pampered lifestyle of the 19th century in Savannah. Our staff awaits you and is ready to book history, civil war, ghost, or architectural tours, dinner, and entertainment venues for your enjoyment.
