Lodge at Mark Twain Lake
The Lodge at Mark Twain Lake Bed and Breakfast is within minutes of Mark Twain State Park. The park offers a beach, boat ramps, and the historical birthplace and shrine of Samuel Clemens. The shrine has the cabin where Samuel Clemens was born.
Just a short drive away is Hannibal MO, where Mark Twain's boyhood home still stands. After exploring Hannibal, spend some time on beautiful Mark Twain Lake. The lake offers boating, fishing, water skiing, and sailing. There are plenty of hiking trails in the state park and on the corp. land. This is truly an outdoor paradise.
Lodge at Mark Twain Lake offers you a peaceful retreat to unwind. The Lodge features the Loft suite, with a king size log bed, with decor that makes you feel as if you are in a cabin in the woods. This is a favorite with honeymooners and couples celebrating anniversaries. There are two addition guest rooms located in the cottage, Hook and Line, also provide a romantic getaway.
We also offer a package to surprise that someone special. All our comfortable guest rooms have a private bathroom. The lodge decorating theme can be seen in all the guest rooms with the finishing touch of a quilt. There is also a fire pit to enjoy a fire or maybe roast some hotdogs or toast some marshmallows.
Located on 5 acres, that is surrounded with nature. A nice variety of birds can be seen. Have a seat on the deck and keep your eye on the hummingbird feeder if there isn't one there, just wait there will be.
A hearty breakfast is served each morning in the Lodge dining room.
