In the center of the Great Estates region across from The Vanderbilt Mansion in Historic Hyde Park, Journey Inn Bed & Breakfast offers you a warm & gracious welcome.

We are just north of The Culinary Institute of America and Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Home & Library. Eleanor Roosevelt's Home, Val-kill is just a short drive from Journey Inn Bed & Breakfast.

Hyde Park has miles of walking trails and bike trails. You can start walking right across the street at The Vanderbilt Mansion's grounds. Come and experience one of the few working Drive-In Movie Theaters! We are midway between Vassar and Bard College with Marist College right down the road.

We have 7 guest rooms each with a private bath. With the morning papers savor a cup of robust coffee or your favorite selection from our tea chest, then indulge in a full gourmet breakfast served in The Morning Room.

Upon your arrival and throughout your stay, we invite you to sample our butler's pantry. It's stocked with hot and cold beverages and cookies to enjoy as you relax in the sitting or reading rooms, use the game table or the writing desk.

In the evening, retire to your guestroom and cosset yourself in a comfortable bed fitted with fine pressed linens. Five of our guestrooms and suites reflect the places we have loved best during our world travels, while 2 pay homage to our 'neighbors', the Roosevelt's and Vanderbilt's.
