Shady Oaks Farm Bed and Breakfast is a romantic, secluded get-a-way close to Cleveland and Akron, and nestled in the beautiful historic Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Northeast Ohio. The Mansion has three suite accommodations each with their own sitting room, bedroom and private bath, furnished in antiques, with luxury linens, slippers and robes to get a massage in, beautiful views of horses grazing in the rolling pastures.

Grab a mountain bike from the barn, we'll give you a map of the park trails, see all the wildlife in the valley, this year there are 6 eagle nests and over 200 blue heron nests on the towpath trail... or take a ride on the scenic railroad thru the national park, or spend the day at a historic site such as, Hale Farm and village, or Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens.

Or if shopping is your thing Aurora Farms Outlet Stores are only minutes away, or Amish country shopping and site seeing...the list is endless, Cleveland has every professional sport teams, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Great shopping and food! Maybe a winery tour, or theater, or day at the zoo, or spend the night at the harness horse race track. We will just keep giving you more ideas of what to do .. or just spent a romantic night at the Inn, walk in the gardens, sit by the lake and rediscover each other.

We also have stables for people traveling with horses. The national park has over 86 miles of bridle trails for horses, some with covered bridges and waterfalls, and beautiful scenery.

We are 1 mile from the 2 largest ski resorts in Ohio, with tubing, snowboarding and skiing. Rentals are available.
