Point Pleasant Inn & Resort is located on Poppasquash Point, a peninsula located in Bristol, Rhode Island.

An English country manor house from another era, Point Pleasant Inn offers a rare look of life from the pages of romance novels.

All guest suites offer luxurious accommodations, spectacular water and garden views. Check in for a holiday that you will never forget, complete with signature amenities, Italian linens, down comforters and fireplaces in Bristol Harbour suite and all public rooms.

All rooms have private baths with bathtubs and separate showers, and we offer two honeymoon suites. Beaudelaire bath products and full resort amenities in all inclusive packages. Make-up mirrors in 2 Honeymoon suites.

The house is fully air conditioned and each room includes a television, newspaper delivery, house robes, hair dryers, towels and a private phone line. Our Guest Office is equipped with fax, copier, PC and conference calling.

Narragansett Suite
A premium suite located on Southern end of the house, with a 180-degree view of the Bristol Harbor and Narragansett Bay. This honeymoon suite offers two bathrooms, a ladies dressing and makeup boudoir and a separate sitting room/study.

The high poster bed, swooning chase and cheval mirror lends itself of a bygone era. Leather chairs, writing table and second TV allows the gentleman to relax while Madame is dressing for the day or evening.

Bristol Harbor Suite
A grand room, originally the Rockwell twin daughters. Sleep in luxury in a king size, high post tobacco style bed, while enjoying the view of the Bristol Harbor and town of Bristol.

Step out onto your private deck and rock the afternoon away, while sipping your favorite beverage. The private bath has a separate tub and shower and the sitting area is complete with a lovely original fireplace. The feel of old Bombay is suggested in this lovely suite with dark mahogany, marble and all white luxury bedding.

Garden View Room
A lovely room with sitting area located on the West (front) side of the house overlooking the sunken Bridal Garden.

Furnished in dark mahogany and all white Italian Linens with antique accents and original oil paintings. The extra large bathroom is complete with a separate shower and oversized antique tub. From your windows watch the deer come in to feed as the sun sets, and you dress for cocktails and dinner.

Admiral's Suite
A two-room suite - one for sleeping in a lovely king size bed located in the front and center of the house.

The adjoining room, separated by the bathroom, is a sitting/TV room with a twin size day bed.

The sitting room is a perfect study and is accented in a travel motif that you would expect to find in an Admiral's Room. Enjoy the oil paintings of fine old ships at sea and the lovely view of the orchard and gardens.

Enjoy life as it was as you stroll through the 33-room mansion along granite and teak floors. Get lost in one of the many books, left over from the Rockwell era. Read by the fire in the lovely library or enjoy the wrap around water view from the Grand salon.

After the best night's sleep of your life, join the other guests for a full breakfast in the waterfront dining room.

This dining room is known for its murals of Bristol's famous homes and mansions. If you prefer, breakfast can be served pool side, on the terrace or delivered to your suite.

A separate continental breakfast is available at 7 a.m. for the early travelers and 24-hour beverages and snacks are included.

Tea & Coffee service is available in the TV Room, as well as soft drinks, baked goodies, and fresh fruit. Afternoon tea is especially nice on the terrace overlooking Bristol Harbour.

Cordials, Wine and a full Bar is available in the Dining Room Butler's Bar and is self-service.
We enjoy cocktails at 5 p.m. in the main gallery, first floor and invite our guests to join us for refreshments of choice along with a light appetizer. Your hosts will tempt your palette with complimentary wines, cheese, and local fare for the cocktail hour. Special weekends include music by a local musician.

Should you be interested in taking advantage of the Spa, there is a Sauna in the Basement.

There is also a complete workout center. Enjoy the hot tub and the pool in the summer season.
Additional facilities available for our guests include a music room, a billiard and game room, an exercise room, an outdoor Jacuzzi, and a sauna.

Enjoy our lovely 20x40 in-ground tiled pool surrounded by lush landscaping and slate deck overlooking the Harbour.

Our King Sized sunbeds nestled under a silk canopy arbor offers just the right touch fro an afternoon nap or evening of romance.

We offer bikes and the bike trail is two miles towards Bristol off Poppasquash Road. Kayaks, Beachcombing, Boating, Croquet, Tennis, Shuffle Board on our property. Water Taxi service close by. Wednesday night Regatta Races and lawn party.

Our guest services coordinator will arrange for picnic baskets and guests bikes so that you may enjoy the beautiful scenery along the East Bay Bike Path, in Colt State Park, and in historic downtown Bristol.

Croquet, tennis, fishing and shelling are all available on the grounds of Point Pleasant Inn.
