Bryn-y-Ddafad lies only four miles from Junction 34 of the M4, making the National Botanic Gardens, the Gower Coastline, the Valleys, and the Brecon Beacons easily accessible to those travelling by car.

The house is surrounded by panoramic views and a network of footpaths providing both long and short walks, together with several hundred acres of forestry nearby.

The Vale also has many fine golf courses (Two championship golf courses The Vale of Glamorgan and Cottrell Park lie within 4 miles) and affords varied opportunities for fishing (nearest trout and coarse fishing 1.5 miles away) Golfers, walkers and cyclists are welcome and facilities are available for storage of bicycles, clothes drying etc.
