The Old Farmhouse, Cardigan Coastal Cottages
The Old Farmhouse has recently been refurbished whilst keeping its original character. There are two king-size bedrooms and two single-bed rooms, sleeping two and four respectively. There is one bathroom with shower and bath, and a living room with large flat-screen TV and free wi-fi.
Alternatively bed and breakfast is offered in en-suite rooms at Ysgubor Mawr, our big barn, but not during peak weeks.
For large parties the hostel, Piggerypoke, is ideal - either self-catering or on a B&B basis.
Cardigan Coastal Cottages are near the new Ceredigion coastal path from which you can sometimes see dolphins, seals and fin whales. Cardigan, about a ten-minute drive, is on the River Teifi. Follow the estuary to Gwbert or Poppit Sands and enjoy the stunning scenery (and home-made scones in the beach house at Poppit).
There are many local attractions including: coasteering, sailing, fishing, golf, riding (and if you fancy riding through the waves you can go further afield for a 2-hour ride at Druidstone Haven, St Bride's Bay), red kite centre, assault course, honey farm, wildlife centre, woollen mill, kayaking, paintballing and many more.
Very worthwhile is a boat trip, just round the headland at Cardigan, where you are guaranteed to see the seal population. This is an unspoilt area of Wales that enjoys surprisingly good weather - no, it does not always rain in Wales! We offer luggage transfer and can store bikes and wet gear.
Within an hour's drive are Aberystwyth to the north, Tenby to the south, Haverfordwest to the west, and also St David's with its famous Bishop's Palace, beautiful cathedral and not forgetting the home-made ice cream shop.
