Garthdderwen Guest house is located in the village of Betws y Coed in a quiet location just off the main road.

We are close to good restaurants, shops, forest walks, mountain walks, river walks, Betws y coed golf course, mountain bike hire, local river fishing and lake fishing.

We are a 3-minute walk from the railway station and bus route.

There is private off road car parking, and a secure cycle store.

We have a selection of well appointed bedrooms with double bedrooms with en suite or private bathrooms, twin bedrooms either en suite or with private bathrooms, and single en suite bedroom .All rooms have a TV, radio, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers.

There is a guest lounge in which to relax after a hard days sightseeing, where you can peruse the local guide books and maps at your leisure.

Betws-y-coed is a good spot for touring North Wales/Snowdonia as it is centrally situated, ideal for visiting the many attractions Snowdonia has to offer, Caernarvon Castle, Conwy Castle to name but two. There are at least 4 steam railway trips to be taken, one of which goes up Mount Snowdon-or Eryri as it is known in Wales, where the views are breathtaking!

Llanberis, the base of Snowdon is only a 25-minute drive from Betws-y-coed. There are slate mines, Hydro-electric dams, horse riding, and many more activities in this beautiful area.

The host is welsh speaking and a member of the local Welsh Male Voice Choir.

There are regular Male Voice Choir Concerts in the village every alternate Friday at the local hotel and every Sunday from July to September in the local church please contact for further details and dates.
