Terfyn Bed & Breakfast

Terfyn B&B has now been open for 21 years we try and give our guests a warm welcome.

Terfyn is situated on the edge of Morfa Nefyn a quiet seaside village, we are only five mins walk from the beautiful beach at Porthdinllaen. On the beach there is the TyCoch pub where you can have a nice quiet drink and look at the lovely views. The sea is safe to swim in so if your to warm on the sand have a nice dip.

If you want to do some sight seeing Caernarfon is only half an hours drive away here you will be able to visit Caernarfon castle, and do a bit of shopping at its many shops, if you want larger shops Bangor is only another ten mins away. For something a little different why not visit Portmeirion the Italian themed village with stunning views towards Harlech and lovely garden walks, it is situated just the other side of Porthmadog, only 30 mins away from us.

For the more active walking the Lleyn peninsula is very popular with the pilgrims walk starting at Clynnog fawr then along the coast all the way to Aberdaron on the point, finishing off with a boat ride to Bardsey island where it is told 20000 saints are buried. On bardsey you can have a relaxing couple of hours before crossing back to the mainland where you can have a cup of tea or something stronger at one of its cafes or pubs.

Every weds there is an open market held at Pwllheli, you can have a wander around the town with its many shops and eating establishments. From May a farmers market will be held with all sorts of local produce from food to crafts sold there. Morfa Nefyn has small shops a couple of pubs, an art gallery/ tea room and of course the well known Nefyn golf course, the course has spectacular views over the bay looking out towards Anglesey and on a clear day Ireland.

After a round of golf you can have a lovely snack or meal at the clubs restaurant. For those wanting to do some sailing visit Abersoch on the other side of the peninsula here you will find all kinds of water sports and events. wind surfers only need to drive a little further along the coast to Hells Mouth. Divers will also find quite a lot of old wrecks on both sides of the peninsula if the sea is rough on one side just drive to the other side for calmer waters.
