Talybont Bed and Breakfast is located in the picturesque village of Talybont, on the banks of the river Ysgethin.
Set in beautiful mature gardens, with a large lawned area, there are two separate seating areas (ideal for the evening glass of wine), where guests can sit back and relax to the soothing sound of the river.
Eileen and David look forward to welcoming you to their home Canol y Coed (Centre of the Wood). The ideal place to stay to explore the Snowdonia National Park and North Wales.
All Rooms have private bathroom, multi channel TV plus DVD player. Tea and Coffee making facilities and hairdryers.

There are flat sandy beaches at Talybont, Dyffryn Ardudwy, and nearby Harlech. The whole Family can have fun at nearby Shell Island where there are hundreds of different shells to be found. The seaside town of Barmouth is approximately 3 miles south of Talybont and offers a picturesque harbour, sandy beach also a selection of Shops, Bars and Restaurants.
This Area of Wales has many tourist attractions; and is renowned for its’ outstanding scenery and natural beauty. There is something for everyone to enjoy. To name but a few Mount Snowdon or Mountain Biking at Coed y Brenin for the adventurous, the outstanding Castles of Harlech, Criccieth, Caernarfon and Conway. Llechwedd Slate Caverns and Sygun Copper Mine are all of great interest.
The small village of Talybont is found approx. 3 miles north of Barmouth and approx. 5 miles south of Harlech on the A496.
From Barmouth (South) - On entering Talybont village, over the River Bridge turn left onto driveway through 'The Old Mill Park' proceed straight ahead into Talybont B & B Car Park.
From Harlech (North) - on entering Talybont drive through the village which changes from a 40mph limit to a 30mph limit. Turn right onto driveway through 'The Old Mill Park' proceed straight ahead into Talybont B & B Car Park.
We have signs prominently placed on the main road, which can be seen from both directions.
