Part Y Seal Bed & Breakfast
Part-Y-Seal is a peaceful and relaxing haven set in the beautiful Monnow Valley on the edge of the welsh border. Our spacious rooms are ensuite with a choice of king-size, four-poster or twin beds, and all have magnificent views of the gardens and surrounding countryside.
We also have a fully qualified in-house Massage Therapist who offers various massage treatments at a special rate for our guests. Ideal for those wishing to relax or rejuvenate aching muscles!
Guests and well behaved pets are welcome to enjoy our 4 acres of mature gardens, (which are open to the public).
We also run a Tearoom from the house providing morning coffee, lunches and afternoon teas. We sell oriental giftware should you need to take a unique gift back home with you.
Within the local vicinity, are the three castles of Grosmont, Skenfrith and White Castle. Dore, Llanthony and Tintern Abbey are all within short driving distance.
The Market towns of Abergavenny (with regular markets, annual Food Festival and Castle), Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye, and Hereford (with its cathedral, the Mappa Mundi and Chained library) are within 16 miles radius.
Take a trip to the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye through the Golden valley or over the Gospel Pass and Hay Bluff with its stunning views. There is lovely walking country around including the three castles walk, Offas Dyke, Skirrid and Sugar Loaf Mountain and Garway Hill. Not to be missed are the fine local churches of Grosmont, Skenfrith, Llangattock Lingoed, Kilpeck, and Cymwoy to name but a few.
Not so far away one can visit the Brecon Beacon National Park, Big Pit & Rhonda heritage park, or on the Hereford side you can follow the black and white village trail. All in all there are many places to visit round and about to make your stay a memorable one and make you want to return time and time again.
