For good reason, Dawn and Aldrin have received hundreds of excellent reviews for their warm welcome and hospitality and they maintain the number one ranked B&B position for the Abergavenny area.

Dawn is beautiful, intelligent, a tad loopy, a little Mutt and Jeff, and is rightfully named after the first golden rays of sunshine that grace the earth after the darkness of the night.... She also doesn't always proof read what her partner Aldrin writes about her :-)

Aldrin is named after Buzz Aldrin after being born a couple of days after the first moon landing. Some say he's tall, dark and handsome, others say he's tall, grey and living in denial. Either way, he will serve you Dawn's delicious breakfasts... and change lightbulbs without a chair.

The peaceful adults-only Llansabbath Country Farmhouse B&B is a modernised 300-year-old farmhouse with 5 stylish en-suite rooms just a 10-minute drive from Abergavenny town centre. There is ample free on-site parking, and WiFi in bedrooms and in the guest lounge. The rooms all come with spacious en-suite bath or shower rooms with powerful showers. There is an extensive breakfast menu. Dawn will cook you perhaps the best breakfast this side of Offa's Dyke.

Local evening dining such as the very popular fine dining at The Hardwick restaurant is only 6 minutes away or the Michelin starred Walnut Tree Inn is only 12 minutes drive away.

Monmouth and Brecon Canal, the Usk Valley Path, Offa's Dyke and the Three Castles Walk are within a 5 to 30-minute drive as are Sugar Loaf, Skirrid and the Blorenge mountains.

The Brecon Four Peaks Walk (Corn Du, Pen y Fan, Cribyn, Fan y Big) and the waterfalls at Pontneddfechan are an hour away in the car.
