Originally built in 1790 the house is a beautifully restored gated Georgian property in the village of Woodcroft, on the outskirts of Chepstow. Having undergone extensive renovations the house is a bright modern home that has been lovingly restored and incorporates many Georgian features.
Situated adjacent to the Offa's Dyke path 'Stoulgrove Country House' aims to offer 5* Bed & Breakfast accommodation to the discerning visitor in an idyllic location.
Minutes away from the historic border town of Chepstow with it's 11th Century Castle, Racecourse, and nearby Tintern Abbey, we are ideally located for visitors wanting to explore the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Bristol, Cardiff, Bath & Cheltenham with the Severn Bridge giving easy access to Bristol, Cardiff M4 & M5 motorways.
We have 2 Double rooms with luxury private bathroom. & 1 top floor Suite with an en-suite shower room & lounge.
All rooms are light & airy with quality double beds, pocket sprung mattresses, central heating, free Wi-fi, TV/DVD & Freeview, hairdryer, iron, welcome tray, fluffy bathrobes & towels & complimentary toiletries,
After a day enjoying the area, its many attractions or after a long drive, 'Stoulgrove' is the place to relax & unwind; either in the garden, in a lovely hot deep bathtub, or with a game of pool in the Games Room. By arrangement you may want to just curl up, share a bag of popcorn and watch a film in our Home Cinema.
After what will be a good nights sleep - rise to the smell of a delicious home cooked 'hearty' breakfast being prepared on the Aga, using lovely local produce where possible.
