Warm welcome awaits on our family working organic beef and sheep farm nestling beneath the tranquil Breidden Hills in the picturesque Severn valley.
Open all year (except Christmas) the newly built extension to the farmhouse offers four modern spacious en-suite rooms, two of which are situated on the ground floor. One of these rooms having been designed for the less agile visitor. Access statement is available upon request. All rooms have central heating, colour TV's and beverage trays. Ample safe parking for cars, bikes and trailers.
A hearty farmhouse breakfast is assured using local produce and preserves. The local pub is just a short walk, from the garden, or a 5-minute drive away for evening meals.
Our visitors are welcome to return at any time from their exploring to relax and enjoy their surroundings
We can offer free fishing on the river Severn.
We are ideally situated for exploring The Marches, Shropshire Hills, Mid-Wales and are within easy reach of lakes, mountains, coast, numerous gardens and stately homes.
The local area offers some wonderful trips just 12 miles away discover Shrewsbury a medieval town with its castle, gardens, excellent shopping and river walks. Chester with its pretty black and white buildings. Oswestry and the Iron Age hill fort, Welshpool and the famous Powis Castle. LLangollen for its canal and aqueduct. Pistyll Rhaedar boasts a stupendous waterfall higher than Niagra.
Snowdon is only 70 miles and with wonderful scenic road and wild open spaces, driving to any of these destinations is an nice as arriving.
