Oakland villas B&B is situated in Hay-on-Wye the 'Town of Books' on the border between Mid Wales and Herefordshire. The town plays host every spring to the Hay Festival of Literature and is the ideal base for those wishing to visit the surrounding countryside which includes the glorious Black Mountains, the commanding Brecon Beacons and the Offas Dyke Trail.
Hay-on-Wye is the ideal base for many outdoor activities including Canoeing on the Wye, Cycling, Walking and Pony Trekking. There are a variety of restaurants, bars and eateries in the small town and many independent retailers to visit.
Oakland villas itself is a semi detached three bedroom property situated on the edge of town within walking distance of all amenities and approx 200yrds from the site of the Hay Festival of Literature.

The property offers one twin room and one single room pleasantly decorated with a shared bathroom housing both a bath and over bath shower.
Exclusive use of the bathroom can be arranged in advance for an extra premium.
Breakfast consists of a Full English breakfast with the option of cereals, toast and fresh fruit. Tea/Coffee making facilities are provided within each room.

The property has a driveway which may be used and there is also a secure lock up for cycles/outdoor equipment. There is also a well tended garden which guests may use.

Tariffs for 2012/2013 are £30.00 per person per night
An extra premium may be charged for exclusive use of the bathroom.
