Ty Gwyn Guest House
Ty Gwyn is a small and friendly guest house situated in the quiet, old mining village of Trehafod. The village of Trehafod is also home of the Rhondda Heritage Centre and Museum; it's one of South Wales major tourist attractions and offers an exciting and enjoyable day out.
Pontypridd and Treforest are a couple of miles away and Cardiff and the Millennium stadium and Wales Millennium Centre are less than 20 miles away.
The Brecon beacons and other places of interest throughout South Wales are easily accessible by car or train. Trehafod has its own train station that is only 100 yards away from the guesthouse.
Whether visiting the area on business or for leisure a warm welcome awaits you.
We offer comfortable, well-furnished accommodation at reasonable rates, discounts are available for long stays and group bookings. You can choose single, twin, or double rooms. Free WiFi available.
All our rooms are non-smoking and clean. They are equipped with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, mineral water, towels, toiletries, and tourist and local information folders.
There is also an iron, ironing board, trouser press and hairdryer available for guests to use.
There's a small kitchen with a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave.
The guest lounge has a large colour television with free sky channels, and a video player with a vast selection of video films suitable for adults and children. There's also a large selection of books and board games to keep you and younger guests amused.
Pets are welcome with prior arrangement.
